Esinejad

Ricardo Miranda started his career as a lawyer but after losing a major case in court quickly realized he should change to a profession where his mistakes wouldn‚t put people behind bars. He chose advertising. And has been a copywriter since 1993, working at Leo Burnet, Foot Cone Belding and presently at Brandia Central, a Portuguese leading agency on brand creation & brand management, labelled Best Ad Agency and Best Design Agency at Portugal‚s Creative Club in 2011. He has won some minor awards, such as best Portuguese copywriter in 2010 and the Portuguese Effie, was a juror at ADCE and LIA, teaches creative advertising and branding at a couple of schools and wrote a bestseller on advertising which sold an impressive 2.147 copies (some of them bought by himself) but somehow managed to become a best-reader among college students. He is also the co-author and editor of a book on brand concepts called „Fight Gravity‰. In 2010 he became brand concept creator at Brandia, the only title he truly loves (Freud, go figure). He is the proud father of 4 boys (no punch line here) and believes we‚re living the best possible time to be in the creative business. If you find Ricardo Miranda‚s résumé boring, it‚s ok: you can always ship him back to a court of law. Maybe this time they‚ll lock him up.
